 We are pleased to announce that TradeWaltz Inc. (hereinafter referred to as TradeWaltz, President & CEO: Hirohisa Kojima / Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) which operates the TradeWaltz®, a trade information linkage platform, has gained ISMS certification (ISO/IEC 27001:2013, JIS Q 27001:2014) and cloud security certification (ISO/IEC 27017 (JIP-ISMS517-1.0) as of February 18th, 2022. 

 
■ What is ISMS (Information Security Management System)? 

ISMS is a system in which a third-party organization certifies that a company’s information security management system complies with ISO/IEC 27001(*1), an international certification standard.

■What is ISO/IEC 27017? 

It is a guideline for information security control measures related to cloud services and is the latest international standard. The Cloud Security Certification (JIP-ISMS517-1.0) scheme includes the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC27017:2015. 

■ Background of acquiring the certifications  

TradeWaltz, Inc. provides TradeWaltz, a platform for digitizing trade operations, as a SaaS service. We decided to implement ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27017 in order to respond to the demands for security from stakeholders involved in trade operations (trading companies, banks, insurance companies, shipping companies, customs clearance, etc.), and will continue to strive for further improvement in reliability to ensure that our users can use our services with confidence.
