Entrepreneur Takayuki Ogoshi, the former youngest business manager at Amazon (26 years old at the time), is joining TradeWaltz Inc. to spread the product version of TradeWaltz to the Japanese market as Executive Officer.

 TradeWaltz Inc. (Representative Director and President: Hirohisa Kojima, hereinafter referred to as TradeWaltz), which operates “TradeWaltz®”, a trade information linkage platform, will accelerate the expansion of the commercial version of TradeWaltz released on April 1 ,2022, throughout Japan. In order to do so, Takayuki Ogoshi is invited as an external professional human resource to be Executive Officer CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) , and Head of Marketing & Sales Dept., who oversees the marketing and sales organization to improve and strengthen the organization of both marketing and sales systems.

 

■ To expand the product version of TradeWaltz throughout Japan even if it’s only a day sooner 
 TradeWaltz released the commercial version of TradeWaltz on April 1st, 2022 after a four-year development period as per the press release released on March 30th. As a cross-industrial trading platform that can be used by all trade practitioners, we will expand it widely in Japan and further promote trade DX.
 Also, as the press release on April 26 and May 11, respectively, we directly requested the Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, the ASEAN presidency, to play a central role as a trading platform in Japan and expand the business in the APEC region. In addition, at the Japan-Vietnam summit meeting held in Vietnam on May 1, Prime Minister Kishida introduced us to Prime Minister Chin as a key example for realizing cooperation for trade DX with Vietnam in the future. As these achievements indicate, we have created the policy to roll out our business as B2B version of Amazon speedily not only in Japan but also in Asia.

 

 Despite the presence of adequate internal human resources in terms of global strategy, public relations, and alliances, the aspect of marketing, sales, and customer success needed to be strengthened to deliver the released product to customers and lead service implementation. Also, the situation shows that the recruitment of engineers for the development of the platform in-house need to be strengthened.

 It is our pleasure to announce that TradeWaltz will announce Takayuki Ogoshi as the new sales and marketing department’s Executive Officer CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and Head of Marketing & Sales Department on June 1st, to strengthen the marketing, sales, and customer service departments and further develop our business. It is expected that he will utilize his skills to build relationships with customers cultivated at the world’s most advanced platform service companies and the like, and we would like to free Japanese customers from analog trade procedures as soon as possible.

 

<Biography of Takayuki Ogoshi>
 After graduating from university, Takayuki Ogoshi started his sales career at grooves, a human resources venture, and moved to Amazon at the age of 25. At the age of 26, he became the youngest business manager in the world. Then, he started and managed TAAS’s e-Pod Digital business, which acquired more than 120 new customers in the last year, and he is a member with all strengths including sales.

■ About strengthening other positions and our organization
 This strengthening of the system is not limited to inviting Ogoshi. Aiming for in-house production of platform development, we will further expand the system centered on the product development section and reinforce the system by hiring engineer-recruitment professionals as Human Resources Recruitment Director. Over the next year, we will continue to promote hiring engineers and establishing the strengthened organization.
 In addition, we openly recruited human resources through Bizreach from March 15th to April 11th, and have hired 17 members from 197 people who applied.

When I received this offer and knew about the business concept, I felt that it was the only business that seemed to be beneficial enough to recover the lost 30 years of Japan, so I agreed to participate.
