Opening of “TradeWaltz” API Reference Site for Development to the Public to Accelerate Its Popularization among Trade Practitioners -Toward Integrated Trade Digitization through Integration with In-House Systems

■About TradeWaltz API
　API (Application Programming Interface) is a mechanism that connects the functions and information of software and programs so that they can be used by other programs. For example, API can be used for various purposes, such as reading Google Maps and posting them on your website, or notifying delivery destinations of Yamato Transport’s delivery status by connecting to LINE.
　The TradeWaltz API is a mechanism for trade practitioners to register contract and logistics information on TradeWaltz from their core systems (such as SAP) and business systems (such as TOSS), view the registered information, and support communication under high security through authentication. It is a mechanism for seamlessly connecting systems.

The API Reference Site, which explains the API specifications, is outlined below.

■Increased need for TradeWaltz collaboration and public access
　We have been sharing the API specifications with existing users, SAP, Binal (TOSS), and other companies that have announced collaboration with us. However, due to the increase in the number of functions provided, the number of users, and various publicity activities, we have decided to open the API specifications to the public due to an increase in requests like following from potential users, other PKG vendors, and platform providers.

　’We are starting to see some financial functions and would like to consider using TradeWaltz, so we would like to know the API specifications.’
　’We are approaching the budgeting process for fiscal year 2023 and would like to know the specifications in order to estimate the cost of API linkage modification.’
　’We are considering TradeWaltz as an alliance partner for the next fiscal year and would like to know the specifications so that we can estimate the cost of modifying the linkage.’

We have already released APIs for many of the functions that we have already provided, and we will release additional APIs for those that have not yet been released, along with new functions that we will release in the future.

■API Reference Site Briefing for the Public
A briefing session for the general public on this API reference site, including Q&A, will be held on October 17. Interested parties are invited to attend.
