TradeWaltz Inc participated in the steering committee of the Asia E-Commerce Alliance (PAA).

The Pan-Asian E-Commerce Alliance (PAA*1), a group of governments, customs agencies, and private sector PFs from around the world with a focus on Asia, held a working group (November 15th) and steering committee (November 16th).  

TradeWaltz applied and was approved to participate in the last steering committee and this is the first time for us to participate as an associate member (*2).

The Pan-Asian E-Commerce Alliance (PAA) is Asia’s first regional E-Commerce alliance with the objective of promoting and providing secure, reliable and value-added IT infrastructure and facilities for efficient global trade and logistics. The total number of member organizations now exceeds 350,000, representing nearly all active trading companies in the Asian market. 

The participating members are as shown here, with NACCS and TradeWaltz Inc participating from Japan. 

In addition to reporting and sharing information on the status of trade digitization in each country, various initiatives are being taken to achieve interoperability, such as the launch of a PoC initiative to connect PF systems and the release of API specifications on the PAA website to connect PFs.

New members are registered as associate members and are promoted to full members after two years of continuous active contribution.
