By utilizing blockchain technology, which is difficult to falsify information, trade transactions are fully digitized under a high level of security. As a result, many companies have introduced the system, and the network effect of users will be increased as the number of connected parties increases. Then, there is an advantage of being able to link trade information among user companies electronically, easily, and at low cost. The following are some examples of current use.

■ Customer Case Studies and Feedbacks (Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion)
Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion) became the first company in the apparel industry to begin using a trial version of TradeWaltz in January 2022, and started using the commercial version in April 2022. We have been using TradeWaltz to manage the progress of trade procedures with overseas companies and logistics departments in import process. With a huge volume of trade documents coming in, all the staff members in charge of the trade operation follows the process displayed on TradeWaltz, which has enabled them to carry out standardized work without hesitation, and the visualization of progress and other tasks has been highly evaluated.

Mr. Isogawa, Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion, Excective general manager administration division A&General manager business operation controls department , commented, “In the apparel industry, we deal with various accessories of clothing, so many procedures are required, and there is a wide range of business partners due to the complex distribution process. We can increase more operational efficiency if we digitalize the trade procedure such as sending contract, shipping documents and customs clearances and B/L. Further operational efficiency can be expected if the contracting, shipping, sending of customs clearance documents, and bill of lading procedures are computerized.

【Comments from stakeholders】
(user company of commercial version of TradeWaltz) Masaya Hioki, Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion,Manager,Logistics Team, Business Management Control Department
TradeWaltz has been an effective tool not only for streamlining operations such the exchange of trade information and the visualization of progress but also for the “training” of trade professionals and the “handover” of in-house trade operations, and we feel that these are byproduct.

Satoru Someya, TradeWaltz Inc, Managing Director, COO, CMO, Head of Marketing & Sales Dept. and Head of Global & Alliance Business Dept
