Participated in the “Institutional Connectivity – Opinion Hearing Session” for the ASEAN-Japan Economic Co-Creation Vision Project

As Japan and ASEAN celebrate the 50th anniversary of their friendship in 2023, JETRO, METI and other organizations have been looking back over the past 50 years and discussing the ideal form of Japan-ASEAN economic cooperation for the next 50 years. It’s been studying under the key statement “realizing a safe, prosperous, and free economic society through fair and mutually beneficial economic co-creation, powered by the trust that Japan and ASEAN have fostered through 50 years of friendship and cooperation”. 

The discussions was summarized as an interim report and a final report is expected at the ASEAN-Japan Economic Ministers’ Meeting in August.

In preparation for the final report, TradeWaltz was invited to the “Institutional Connectivity – Opinion Hearing Session” to exchange views and opinions.
