On May 25, 2026, the “Working Group on Digital Economy” was held under the co-chairpersonship of EABC (East Asia Business Council) Singapore and EABC Japan, and TradeWaltz Inc. was honored to take part in this meaningful event.
The primary objective of this meeting is to contribute to regional economic growth by strengthening economic relations within the private sector of the ASEAN+3 region (comprising Japan, China, South Korea, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and promoting regional trade and investment. In this session, focusing on the highly relevant and timely theme of the “Digital Economy,” business leaders from various countries engaged in dynamic and constructive dialogues. The discussions comprehensively addressed regional trade, investment, market access, and other trade-related challenges, while also resulting in concrete policy recommendations addressed to respective governments.
On this occasion, our company had the privilege of delivering a presentation titled “Japan’s Initiatives in Digital Trade Connectivity (DTC): TradeWaltz’s Challenges Toward Digitalization.” During the presentation, we were pleased to share our latest milestones, including the digitalization of certificates of origin in collaboration with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), as well as the steady progress being made toward establishing interconnected platforms with various ASEAN nations.
Under our inspiring mission, “Create the Future of Trade,” TradeWaltz remains deeply committed to actively contributing to regional economic development and fostering innovation in the digital sphere through our ongoing participation in such international communication platforms.
