Initial Users Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation Plastics, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Have Connected to and Started Using the Trading Platform “TradeWaltz.”

TradeWaltz Inc.

TradeWaltz Inc., which operates the trading-related information-sharing platform known as “TradeWaltz,” completed the sequential system integration between March 15 and April 5　for three initial users, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation Plastics, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank. This production commercial flow officially marks the start of the “TradeWaltz” service.

The initial function at the start was LC Receipts (*1). With current transactions, there are complicated and written tasks such as confirming whether the contents of the bill of lading match the descriptions in the LC or not. The goal this time was to make all of those checks be possible through the system, which we were able to do. The next functional update is scheduled for October.

*1) LC (Letter of Credit) is a document issued by a bank that confirms payment in order to facilitate trade settlement.
