TradeWaltz Inc., a Trade Information Linkage Platform, Released Commercial Version on April 1 – Export & Import Procedures is Available Now on the Platform

 TradeWaltz Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “TradeWaltz”) released its commercial version of TradeWaltz® with export and import capabilities on April 1.  LC notification functionality was previously released in March 2021, and from April on, a wide range of functions, including contracts, settlements and customs clearances, will be available.

 The following is the release schedule for the functions released in April for the commercial version and the expanded functions for FY2022.

■ TradeWaltz solves the challenges of trade transactions

 Even with a large covid-19 impact, trade procedures still rely on paper documents, and trade practitioners are forced to travel to work since remote work is not possible for them. Furthermore, the number of trade practitioners is expected to decrease in the future due to a declining birth rate, and the need to improve and streamline analog trade transactions has become critical.

 TradeWaltz is a cross-industry trade information linkage platform. With blockchain technology, trade transactions can be fully digitized under a high level of security. Demonstration results in the past have indicated an improvement of 44-60% in business efficiency. Furthermore, liminating paper documents will lower costs and make it possible for practitioners to work remotely.

 In 2021, we have successfully demonstrated export operations from Japan to Taiwan in collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises (*1). Also, we are also working with the TOSS series, which has the largest share of the international logistics system in the market (*2), and have been selected for the Accelerator Program operated by SAP Japan (*3). (Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, and Australia) in FY 2022 (*4), and we are also considering collaboration between platforms in Japan and overseas.
