TradeWaltz Inc., together with Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co., held a webinar (free of charge) on June 23, 2022, on our efforts to fully digitalize trade practices as follows.

The Impact of recent changes on trade operations 
The revision of the electronic book preservation system that took effect in January this year has led to an increase in the number of companies that are initiating initiatives to digitalize trade documents as well as to study the inventory, review and digitalize the entire trade business, not just digitalizing trade documents of digitizing trade-related books and documents. As this background, there is a movement goes beyond the revision of the electronic book preservation system as follows.

　-Revision of the Act on Electronic Book Preservation 
　-Selection of post-project survey destinations utilizing AI, etc.

　-Government-private joint initiatives (TW and NACCS, etc.)

■Introduction of “TradeWaltz”, a trade information linkage platform  
The Webinar introduced TradeWaltz Inc. and its vision for transforming trade operations centered around paper media, along with a system demonstration. Safe, smooth, and simple trade platform was explained for everyone who has requests such as wanting to streamline current trade practices and analog communication, eliminating paper documents, or promoting telework of trade practitioners. 

■ Introduction of real-case examples using “TradeWaltz” 
Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co. and TradeWaltz Inc. started a collaboration related to electronic book preservation consulting services in June last year, and have utilized their respective expertise in efforts to realize full digitalization of trade. There will be a further collaboration this time, which will involve facilitation, optimization, and reconstruction of trade processes beyond digitalization of trade books. Thus, the webinar included real-case examples by utilizing TradeWaltz and details of the expanded collaboration between Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co. and TradeWaltz Inc.
