TradeWaltz Inc. introduced a small start plan (usage-based billing) and sales agency system to accelerate the expansion of TradeWaltz to trade practitioners

 TradeWaltz Inc. (hereinafter referred to as TradeWaltz), which operates TradeWaltz ®, a trade information linkage platform, announces launch of the small start plan (usage-based billing model) and sales agent system, aiming to create an environment that is easy for more trade practitioners to use.

 

■ Small start plan developed in response to TradeWaltz usage growth and customer feedback
 TradeWaltz, a trading platform released this year after 4 years of the development period, has gradually gained recognition from trade practitioners who suffer from “paper-based analog trade,” with more than 1,000 inquiries and 50 companies using the product on a trial basis over the past year. In addition, according to the data (see figure below) recently presented by Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co. at Full digitalization webinar for trade practitioners on June 23, TradeWaltz has been highly anticipated as a service that trade practitioners would like to use in the future.

 With this background, customers who use TradeWaltz for a large number of transactions from the first year and who use it by repairing API connections have received the system positively. On the other hand, there are some departments (sites) of large companies that implement it little by little with department manager’s approvals. Also, small and medium-sized enterprises gave us comments, such as, “It was difficult to get internal approval from managers since they asked if we truly use TradeWaltz by paying the standard usage fee.”, and “is it possible to build a pay-as-you-go model that is simple and easy to persuade bosses? As an example, 8,000 yen per export and 6,000 yen per import can be reduced, while the fee to be paid is *** yen per case, and there is no disadvantage because the qualitative effect can be obtained, and actions can be taken as DX projects. This allows us to show how much work efficiency can be improved by using TradeWaltz.”

 Accordingly, at the initiative of Ogoshi (previously worked at Amazon), who has been the CMO since June, we decided to start offering a model that asks customers to pay only for the services they use like AWS, if 1,000 transactions or fewer per year are used and there is no API linkage. ■Announced and began accepting applications for the sales agent system 

 We have also received an increasing number of inquiries from consulting firms, system integrators, trading service companies, and regional banks which have asked if they could receive a sales commission for integrating TradeWaltz into their services since they have been receiving more inquiries from their clients. Also, shippers, logistics companies, banks, and insurance companies have asked us if they could receive a discount on the usage fee by introducing several of their clients as customers. Based on these comments, we have officially established and started to offer the sales agent partner system.
