“Current status and prospects of Japan’s digitalization of trade in international logistics”
Outline
While the turmoil in international maritime logistics has been prolonged due to the consequences of COVID 19, economic partnerships in the world’s free trade areas such as CPTPP, Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement, and RCEP are progressing, and there has been a movement to rebuild the entire supply chain. Among this situation, the movement of digital transformation (DX) that seamlessly and real-time shares trade-related information by utilizing blockchain technology which is a new technology, is expanding, and various effects such as efficiency improvement of international logistics are expected.
This time, we invited experts in the cutting-edge blockchain technology in Japan and companies that develop and promote leading trading platforms to explore the current situation and prospects of Japan’s digitalization of trade.
